WHO WE ARE....
We are a very active parent & teacher association and proud member of the National PTA.  Our non-profit organization provides funding for school events, cultural arts programs, field trips, classroom supplies, and after school programs.  Our mission is simple - our students, our children.

We hope you visit this site regularly to stay in touch with what is happening at JBF.  We all have very busy schedules, so this website is intended to provide information on upcoming events, special announcements, school news and much more!  Stay tuned!

JBF PTA 5K RoadRace!
1 Mile Ryan's Run/Walk!
**This year's "Family Fun Run" was a ONE MILE RYAN'S RUN/WALK. All proceeds from "Ryan's Run" were donated in honor of Ryan Agnew to the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), of which 100% of all donations go directly towards RYAN'S post-transplant medical needs. JBF PTA NEW Fundraising efforts...

Please help earn some extra green for JBF! (all while GOING GREEN & recycling!)
We are working to earn funds this year by...
1.) PHONES/PRINTERS CARTRIDGES: Collecting and recycling gently used cell phones and printer cartridges through www.thinkrecycle.com.
2.) CAPRI SUN POUCHES: We will now be recycling Capri Sun pouches at $.02 each. Send them in!  (:

for the Providence
Ronald McDonald House!
Send in your pop tabs (from cans of soda's, juice, etc) in a sealed plastic baggie - - we are collecting them for Ronald McDonald House!  The tabs turn into $$$ for the Providence Ronald McDonald House!  Ronald McDonald House collects pop tabs because they are pure high-quality aluminum, unlike cans, which consist of aluminum and other alloys. Tabs are also easier to store and more sanitary than whole cans. What an easy way to lend a helping hand! Learn more, click here.

THE JBF PTA NEEDS Y-O-U!!
JBF PTA seeking new committee members, volunteers & more

As always, as our school transitions into a new school year, 2010/2011 we see a change in our membership.
The sad news is - - unfortunatley, many of our dear JBF Families have moved onto the upper grades of Jr. High School - - & beyond JBF.
The happy news is - - there are still plenty of new & exciting doin's at JBF for SY 2010-2011!! And its never too soon to get involved! Interested in running an event? Have an idea for a program? Not sure what you'd like to get involved in , but know you'd like to help out??? Just email your name , contact info & thoughts to: info@jbfpta.org.  Please know that this DOES NOT require a huge committment of time....grab a friend or two & share the experience!...like helping with Hospitality & more!
